Description	:	Jane Montgomery Walton, widow of Dudley Walton, died at the home of her son, B. F. Walton, in Geneva, Neb., at 6:10 p.m. Sunday, May 1, 1927, aged 87 years, 2 months and 24 days. Jane Montgomery was born near Crothersville, Ind., January 7, 1840. There she grew to womanhood. February 15, 1863, she was married to Dudley Walton of Lancaster, Ind. Jane Montgomery was born near Crothersville, Ind., January 7, 1840. There she grew to womanhood. February 15, 1863, she was married to Dudley Walton of Lancaster, Ind. In 1876 they moved to Casey, Ill., later settling on a farm near Edgar, Neb. In February, 1890, they moved to Geneva, where she resided until her death. Mr. Walton departed this life June 19, 1922. Mrs. Walton united with the Missionary Baptist Church in 1876 at Uniontown, Ind. Mrs. Walton leaves three sons and one daughter, William M. of Cody, Wyo., Lida Black of Casey, Ill., B. F. and Marion E. of Geneva, Neb.; a sister, Sarah Gorrell of Crothersville, Ind.; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A son, Emery R. died in infancy. The funeral will be conducted from the residence at 2 p.m. today, Thursday, by Rev. H. G. Langley of the Geneva Methodist Episcopal Church. Interment will be in the Geneva Cemetery. The pallbearers will be sons and grandsons of Mrs. Walton. The Nebraska Signal May 5, 1927 page 2.
