Janet was born July 13, 1958, in Henderson, NE to Richard and Norma Lou (Vauck) DeJung. She received her education in Sutton and graduated from Sutton High School in 1976. After graduation she resided in Sutton for a short time before moving to Arizona. While living in Arizona she was employed at Target. Do to ill health she moved back to Sutton to be closer to family. In July 2013, she moved to the Sutton Community Home due to her progressing diabetes. She enjoyed playing games on her laptop and loved spending time with her granddaughter and dog. She is survived by her sons, Kyle Schwalb who is stationed in Hawaii with the Navy; Kevin and wife Ashley Schwalb of Arizona; granddaughter, Harper Schwalb of Arizona; sisters, Debra and husband Steve Waddle of Glenvil, NE; Terrie and husband Danny Northrop of Sutton, NE; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
