Description	:	Janet was born Nov. 27, 1941, in Platte Center to Floyd and Marian Mueller. Janet was the first in her family to attend college. She graduated from Kearney State College and taught home economics and later general educational development to students all across Nebraska. Janet's spirit of care giving was felt by all who knew and loved her. She could be found in the early morning hours weeding and planting at the Crete golf course, and in the afternoon Janet would be cooking meals at the community center or helping organize donations at New Beginnings. Janet served on... Read More	Janet was born Nov. 27, 1941, in Platte Center to Floyd and Marian Mueller. Janet was the first in her family to attend college. She graduated from Kearney State College and taught home economics and later general educational development to students all across Nebraska. Janet's spirit of care giving was felt by all who knew and loved her. She could be found in the early morning hours weeding and planting at the Crete golf course, and in the afternoon Janet would be cooking meals at the community center or helping organize donations at New Beginnings. Janet served on Crete's Planning Commission for 34 years, and was a longtime member of American Association of University Women, her Fortnightly club, and First Congregational United Church of Christ in Crete. Janet would never turn down a good game of golf, her biannual trip to Las Vegas, or the opportunity to host an amazing meal for friends and family. Most of all, Janet loved her family and her family loved her. She treasured her children and adored her grandchildren.
