Nancy Peebles officiating. Burial is at the Roselawn Cemetery in Columbus. Visitation is from 4-8 p.m. today at Gass-Haney Funeral Home in Columbus. Mr. Mueller was born April 28, 1918, in Columbus to Samuel and Lena (Egger) Mueller. He attended school in Platte County. He married Marian Kamm on Sept. 14, 1940, in Platte Center and they settled on a farm near Oconee. He was a past member of the Oconee Township Election Board and worked with the Lower Loup Natural Resources District for 12 years. He was a member of the church and was active for many years in the Men's Brotherhood group. He loved fishing and card playing. He spent his entire life in Platte County. Survivors include his wife; one daughter, Janet (Loren) Bonneau of Crete; one son, Roger (Michele) of Columbus; one sister, Helen (Gottlieb) Abegglen of Columbus; one brother, Edward (Martha) of Columbus; five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Walter; and two sisters, Lillian Bisson and Hulda Klink. Memorials are suggested to the church.
