Description	:	Janet (Esterly) Blosser, age 81, of White Oak Estates and a former long-time resident of Pine Forest died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at the White Oak Estates Nursing Home. Born April 18, 1932 in Columbiana, OH, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Ruth (Reece) Esterly. She was a 1950 graduate of Columbiana High School and on September 30, 1951 she married the love of her life, Carl Lee Blosser. Read More	Janet (Esterly) Blosser, age 81, of White Oak Estates and a former long-time resident of Pine Forest died Thursday, July 4, 2013 at the White Oak Estates Nursing Home. Born April 18, 1932 in Columbiana, OH, she was the daughter of the late Clifford and Ruth (Reece) Esterly. She was a 1950 graduate of Columbiana High School and on September 30, 1951 she married the love of her life, Carl Lee Blosser. Following sixty years of marriage, Carl preceded her in death on October 31, 2011. Jan was mainly a homemaker, wife and mother, yet she also worked with her husband at the Servicetown Truck in Fredericksburg, VA. In 1972, Jan and Carl moved to Spartanburg where she worked with Arrow Automotive and were members of the First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg. Some of Jan's greatest enjoyments were reading, playing a good game of cards, or a round of golf. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a brother, John Esterly. Surviving are four children, Daniel Lee Blosser and his wife, Deborah, of Fredericksburg, VA; Lawrence Allen "Larry" Blosser and his wife, Christine of Columbia, SC; Jay Michael Blosser and his wife, Theresa of Petersburg, VA; Nancy Ann Blosser Papciak and her husband, Tony of Hillsborough, NJ; Six grandchildren, Danielle Blosser Payne and her husband, Michael of Fredricksburg, VA; Zachary Blosser of Wilmington, NC; Jeff Blosser of Hickory, NC; Laura Blosser Pearl and her husband, Paul of Charlotte, NC; Rachel Papciak and Emily Papciak, both of Hillsborough, NJ; one great-granddaughter, Scarlett Grace Payne; one sister, Winifred Esterly Urbschat of Columbiana, Ohio. Memorial services were held Saturday, July 13 at 11 o'clock at the Bobo Funeral Chapel conducted by the Reverend Dr. William L. Arthur of the First Presbyterian Church of Spartanburg. The family received friends following the service. A family committal service was held in Greenlawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requested memorial contributions be made to Mobile Meals of Spartanburg, P.O. Box 461, Spartanburg, SC 29304. www.mobile-meals.org.
