Born October 26, 1950, in Kitzmiller, she is the daughter of Frederick Garland Sharpless and the late Geraldine Mae (Evans) Sharpless. Janice was employed by the Durst Funeral Home, Oakland. Wolf; three sons, Mark A. Wolf, Mtn. Lake Park, MD; Brandon M. Wolf and Ryan T. Wolf, both of Oakland; one brother, Randy L. Sharpless, Swanton, MD; one sister, Sandra K. “Cookie” Noble, Kitzmiller; five grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 203 S. Second St., Oakland, on Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Services will be conducted at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church, Swanton, on Thursday, August 30, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. with Rev.
