Janice was born on November 2, 1938 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Lanora (Bozwell) Wright. She graduated Centerville High School as Valedictorian with the Class of 1957. Janice was born on November 2, 1938 in Centerville, Iowa, the daughter of Paul and Lanora (Bozwell) Wright. She graduated Centerville High School as Valedictorian with the Class of 1957. On December 23, 1956, she was united in marriage to Robert S. Young at the Drake Avenue Christian Church in Centerville, Iowa.. From this union, three children were born, Robin, Randy, and Russell. Janice was passionate about children and valued her family and faith above all things. Her favorite activity was mowing the grass. She had a very contagious laugh. Janice had a tender heart for all living things, and loved her church family dearly. Her prayers were rarely said without a tear. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a friend to all. Janice will be dearly missed, until we see her again in our heavenly home. Janice is survived by her loving husband, Robert Young of Plano; her children, Robin Young of Quad Cities, Iowa, Randy (Joan) Young of Owatonna, Minnesota, and Russell (Arlene) Young of Tea, South Dakota; two grandchildren, Jeremy Young of Salem, Illinois, and Adam Young of Owatonna, Minnesota; two siblings, Larry (Karla) Wright of Johnston, and Susan (Gene) Horton of Liberty, Illinois; as well as a host of other family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Lanora Wright; and a grandson, Dustin Young. Private Graveside Services will take place at Brushy Cemetery in Plano, Iowa. A Public Celebration of Life service will be held at 11AM, Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Albia Baptist Temple, 624 A Ave W. Albia, Iowa 52531, with Pastor Brian Harris officiating.
