Description	:	Lanora (Bozwell) Wright, age 85, of rural Plano, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2004, at Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, Iowa. She was born August 13, 1918, the daughter of Ray and Tena (Bryden) Bozwell in Cincinnati, Iowa. They have preceded her in death. She was married to Paul Wright who also preceded her in death and they have three children: Janice Young and her husband Robert of Plano, Iowa; Susan Horton and her husband Gene of Quincy Illinois; and Larry and his wife Karla of Woodbury, Minnesota. Read More	Lanora (Bozwell) Wright, age 85, of rural Plano, Iowa, passed away Tuesday, August 10, 2004, at Wayne County Hospital in Corydon, Iowa. She was born August 13, 1918, the daughter of Ray and Tena (Bryden) Bozwell in Cincinnati, Iowa. They have preceded her in death. She was married to Paul Wright who also preceded her in death and they have three children: Janice Young and her husband Robert of Plano, Iowa; Susan Horton and her husband Gene of Quincy Illinois; and Larry and his wife Karla of Woodbury, Minnesota. Lanora was a Homemaker for many years, later working at Bob's Standard Service and Mc Graw Edison, and finally retiring from Union Carbide. She loved to fish, feed and watch the birds, mow her yard and watch college basketball, especially the Cyclones. Lanora also enjoyed her C.B. Radio, having the handle "Twiggy". Most especially, Lanora loved her kids, grandkids and great grandkids. Her best friend was her sister Dot. She and Dot spent many hours on genealogy projects. Lanora always cared for those with a need: an injured bird; a hungry dog; or a young perso. She was also preceded in death by: a sister Dortha Walters; and a brother William Wayne Bozwell. She is survived by: her three children; her sister, Alice Voyles of Godfrey, Illinois; as well as 6 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday August 14, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Centerville, Iowa with Rev. Lloyd Johnston officiating. Burial will follow at the Brushy Cemetery north of Plano, Iowa. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 13, 2004 from 1 to 9 p.m. at the Schmidt Family Funeral Home in Centerville, Iowa. Visitation with the family present will be from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. A memorial has been established in her name and can be left at or mailed to the Schmidt Family Funeral Home, 501 North 18th Street, Centerville, Iowa 52544.
