Description	:	GLOUCESTER - Janie Mildred McCutcheon, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was called home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rachel Gandy, born on Nov. 20, 1919, in Darlington, S.C. Janie moved to Virginia with her late husband, George H. McCutcheon, in 1957 and has resided in Gloucester County since 2002. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Read More	GLOUCESTER - Janie Mildred McCutcheon, beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, was called home to be with the Lord on October 1, 2006. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rachel Gandy, born on Nov. 20, 1919, in Darlington, S.C. Janie moved to Virginia with her late husband, George H. McCutcheon, in 1957 and has resided in Gloucester County since 2002. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include a daughter, Barbara Swain and husband, Mike; granddaughters, Angie Williams and Tracey Swain, great-granddaughter, Taylor Williams all of Gloucester; sister, Thelma McDaniel; brother, Raymond Gandy, both of Scranton, S.C. and a host of nieces and nephews The family wishes to extend their sincere appreciation to her home care aides, Angela Pittman, Velma Crocker, Millie Garcia, Novi Hess, Alice Taylor and Susie Ward, provided by Bay Aging. Graveside funeral services conducted by Pastor Scott Pond will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Windsor Garden Cemetery, Dutton. Friends are asked to assemble at the cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 7 to 8 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. At the request of the family, memorial donations may be made to Bay Aging Home Care Department.
