She was a homemaker, a Jehovah's Witness and belonged to the Hughesville congregation. She was a 1946 graduate of St. Cecelia's Academy. She is survived by her husband, Joseph Bruce Hill Sr.; children, Joseph B. and his wife, Toni Hill, William F. and his wife, Cathy Hill, James C. and his wife, Joyce Hill, Mary Jeanne and her husband Bob Sheetz, Michael K. and his wife, Stacey Hill and John A. and his wife, Evelyn Hill; grandchildren, Christine, Sheri, Brendan, Mathew, Morgan, Kelly, Bobbi Jo, Shannon, Michael, Jane, Crystal, Jeanine and John; and great-grandchildren, Katie and Johnny. A celebration of life will be held from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. April 26 at Brinsfield-Echols Funeral Home, Charlotte Hall. A service will be held at 11 a.m. April 27 at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Hughesville. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Children's National Medical Center, 1630 Euclid St. NW, Washington, DC 20009 or Mechanicsville Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 15, Mechanicsville, MD 20659.
