Read More	Jeane Marilyn MacKenzie Roe EDDYVILLE — Jeane M. Roe, 78, of 2363 340th St., died at 1:27 a.m. December 23, 2005, at Hospice House. She was born August 21, 1927 in Ottumwa to Edward John and Gladys I. Higdon MacKenzie. A graduate of Ottumwa High School in 1945, she worked for S. S. Kresege in Ottumwa and for Eddyville Community Schools in food service, retiring in 1989. She was a member of Faith Community Church in Eddyville. She was married to Earl Roe for 59 years and together they have six children: Bunny (Bill) Loy of Miami, Florida, David E. (Linda) Roe of New Liberty, Michael C. (Becky) Roe, Joe E (Annette) Roe and Jim E. (Becky) Roe, all of Eddyville, and Amy L. (John) Roe of Williamstown, Kentucky; 13 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Ann Smith of Des Moines; and two brothers, Edward J. MacKenzie Jr. and David J. MacKenzie of Ottumwa. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Marge Curran and Betty Larson. Her body has been cremated. Memorial services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Faith Community Church in Eddyville with Rev. Richard Grimes officiating. Inurnment will be in Highland Cemetery in Eddyville. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at the Reece Funeral Home in Ottumwa. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Faith Community Church in Eddyville, Hospice 312 E. Alta Vista Ottumwa and Eddyville Volunteer Fire Department. THE OTTUMWA COURIER December 23, 2005
