Description	:	Jeanette D. "Billie" Parkins, 77, a resident of Fall City and longtime resident of Leavenworth, died Friday morning, Oct. 24, 1997, at her home. She was born Dec. 14, 1919, to William S. and Mary J. (Bowen) Reynolds. In 1936, she moved with her family to Leavenworth, and on Oct. 12, 1937, married Charles W. Parkins. "Billie" Parkins, 77, a resident of Fall City and longtime resident of Leavenworth, died Friday morning, Oct. 24, 1997, at her home. She was born Dec. 14, 1919, to William S. and Mary J. (Bowen) Reynolds. In 1936, she moved with her family to Leavenworth, and on Oct. 12, 1937, married Charles W. Parkins. They later moved to Omak, where she worked as a cook for St. Mary's Mission. A short time later they returned to Leavenworth. She worked for many years as a nurse's aide at Cashmere Convalescent Center and then as a cook for Cascade General Hospital until her retirement. She moved to Wenatchee until poor health forced her to move to North Bend to live with her sister and then in 1990 to Fall City to be near her son. Billie was a longtime member of the Wenatchee Eagles and a former member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Survivors include three children, Charles Stanley Parkins of Fall City, Henry Wesley Parkins of Leavenworth and Jackie Jean Frank of Cashmere; two sisters, Marion Laatsch of North Bend and Maxine Pfeifer of Cashmere; eight grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles, in 1975, two brothers, Percy and Elwood, a sister, Olive, and a great-granddaughter, Kierstin. Ward's Funeral Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
