Description	:	KENDALLVILLE – Jeanette Elmo Stringfellow, 97 of Kendallville died on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 5:35 p.m. at the Northridge Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Albion. She was born May 16, 1912 in Jefferson Township, Noble County to the late Thaddus and Edith (Boughey) Graves. On November 12, 1931 in Albion she married George Stringfellow who preceded her in death on May 24, 1990. Upon his death Jeanette moved to the Lamplighter in Kendallville. Read More	KENDALLVILLE – Jeanette Elmo Stringfellow, 97 of Kendallville died on Saturday, October 17, 2009 at 5:35 p.m. at the Northridge Village Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Albion. She was born May 16, 1912 in Jefferson Township, Noble County to the late Thaddus and Edith (Boughey) Graves. On November 12, 1931 in Albion she married George Stringfellow who preceded her in death on May 24, 1990. Upon his death Jeanette moved to the Lamplighter in Kendallville. Mrs. Stringfellow lived in Noble County most of her life except during the years of 1917 to 1921 when she lived with her family in Roundup, Montana, until her father's death and then the family returned to the Albion area. Mrs. Stringfellow was employed at the V. & A. Restaurant and Mc Cray Memorial Hospital for many years, then retiring from Lyall Electric in 1977. Prior to her husband's death, they spent winters in Brooksville, Florida. Mrs. Stringfellow was a long time active member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Albion and Martha Circle, Rebekah Lodge of Albion. She is survived by three daughters Mrs. Charles and Edith Wentworth and Mrs. Rick and Sue Deter both of Albion, and Beth Lawrence of Ft. Wayne. Jeanette's grandchildren are Brad Wentworth, Belita Terry, Stephanie Lawrence, Brice Lawrence, Jeremey Deter and Chad Deter. Step great grandchildren are Austin Teel, Mallory Teel and Aaron Slone. Great grandchildren are, Brandy Miller, Braden Wentworth, Shawanda Lawrence, LaTia Lawrence, Satarah Lawrence, Isaiah Lawrence, Amanda Lawrence, Jesse Lawrence, Zane Deter, Avery Deter and Jerrick Deter Great great grandchildren are Andrew Miller, Nicholas Miller, Avery Deter, Jerrick Deter, Lilly Wentworth, Naayele Ackon and Raiden Ackon. Funeral Services for Mrs. Stringfellow will be on Wednesday, October 21, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at the Trinity United Methodist Church in Albion. The Rev. Dr. Dan Barker of the church will officiate the service. Burial will follow at the Sweet Cemetery near Albion. Visitation will also be on Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorials be directed to the Trinity United Methodist Church in Albion, envelopes will be available at the church. The Brazzell Funeral Homes, Albion Chapel is in charge of arrangements.
