Description	:	Jeanette Juanita Long Ward, 82, widow of Levy Bryant Ward, died Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Mrs. Ward was born October 12, 1930, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Henry Munlin Long and the late Ethel Russell Long. She was a member of Screven Baptist Church and the Deborah Sunday School Class. She was involved in many things at Screven Baptist Church, including teaching Sunday school for 60 years, Womens Methodist Union, Training Union, GA's and singing in the choir. Read More	Jeanette Juanita Long Ward, 82, widow of Levy Bryant Ward, died Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Tidelands Community Hospice House. Mrs. Ward was born October 12, 1930, in Williamsburg County, a daughter of the late Henry Munlin Long and the late Ethel Russell Long. She was a member of Screven Baptist Church and the Deborah Sunday School Class. She was involved in many things at Screven Baptist Church, including teaching Sunday school for 60 years, Womens Methodist Union, Training Union, GA's and singing in the choir. She was a graduate of Winyah High School and Georgetown School of nursing. She also attended Andrews High School where she received the MVP while playing on an all-boys team. She was a member of the Literacy Council and enjoyed gardening. She was survived by five children, Russell (Dora) Ward of Irmo and Donna (Alan) Clark, LuAnn (Gerald) Cannon, Randall Ward and Lisa (Chuck) Daniels, all of Georgetown; five grandchildren, Leslie (Jamey) Shumard of Georgetown; Mary (Luke) Walker of Roanoke Rapids, NC; and Ward Daniels, Sydney Daniels and Ellbie Daniels, all of Georgetown; four great-grandchildren, Isaac Shumard, Emma Claire Shumard, Mallorie Walker and Michaela Walker; a brother, Harold Long; and a sister, Annabelle Elliott; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by three sisters, Barbara Williams, Doris Glass, and Shirley Mackey. Funeral services were Sunday, August 25, 2013, in Screven Baptist Church. The Rev. Jason Williams and the Rev. Kirby Winstead officiated. Burial, directed by Graham Funeral Home, followed in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
