She was born Feb. 7, 1898 in Mahaska county. She has lived in Wapello county most of her life. The daughter of George and Anna Worgan Chambers, she was a member of the Wesley United Methodist Church. She married M.J. McGrath in Ottumwa June 21, 1922. He preceded her in death July 13, 1966. McGrath in Ottumwa June 21, 1922. He preceded her in death July 13, 1966. She is survived by one son, Richard McGrath of Ottumwa, three sisters, Blanche Chambers of Ottumwa Route 6, Mrs. Mary Fisher of Los Angeles, and Mrs. Frances Daggett of Bensenville, Ill. She was preceded in death by one infant son and three brothers. The body is at Johnson Funeral Chapel pending completion of arrangements. ********************** Service for Mrs. Jeannette C. McGrath will be held at Johnson Funeral Chapel Thursday 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. Brown Garlock of Wesley United Methodist Church officiating. Burial will be in Floris cemetery. The casket will be closed at the beginning of the service. Pallbearers are Jesse McFarland, Warren Roberts, Chester Hunter, Keith Pearson, William Gettings and Robert Fisher.
