After graduation he worked as a heavy equipment driver for Dixon County then moved to Kansas, Oklahoma, Iowa and California where he continued to work with heavy equipment. Jeff enjoyed hunting and going to gun shows. He and his dog Midget were inseparable. Jeff is survived by his father, Don Mackling of Emerson, Ne, brother Vaughn Mackling and his wife Rita of Omaha, Ne, as well as several Nieces and Nephews.
