Description	:	The Recorder November 11, 1982 Jemima Jane Gardner, 95, died Thursday morning, Nov. 4, 1982 at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Violet Lindsay in Monterey. She was born Jan. 1, 1887 at Doe Hill, daughter of Harrison and Joanna Crummett Stalnaker. Mrs. Gardner was a member of Victory Chapel Advent Christian Church and the Women's Mission Society of the church. On Dec. 23, 1904 she married Hampton Gardner, who died Oct. 27, 1957. She was born Jan. 1, 1887 at Doe Hill, daughter of Harrison and Joanna Crummett Stalnaker. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Violet Lindsay, with whom she made her home, and Mrs. Eva Law, both of Monterey; six sons, Harper of Cape Coral, Fla.; Delmar of Golf Port, Fla.; Melvin of Baltimore, Md.; Julian of Washington, D.C. and Arlin and Leroy Gardner, both of Mustoe; 18 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. A service was conducted 2 p.m. Sunday at Obaugh Funeral Home in McDowell by the Rev. Ivan Young. Burial was in Gardner Cemetery at Mustoe.
