Description	:	Jenamae Smith Lewis, 81, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest E. and Nancy Peters Smith. She was a 1949 graduate of Hampton High School. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and a member of Beck Mountain Baptist Church, where she taught the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class for many years. Read More	Jenamae Smith Lewis, 81, of Elizabethton, went home to be with her Lord on Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at the Johnson City Medical Center. A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Ernest E. and Nancy Peters Smith. She was a 1949 graduate of Hampton High School. Mrs. Lewis was a homemaker and a member of Beck Mountain Baptist Church, where she taught the Adult Ladies Sunday School Class for many years. She enjoyed reading and spending time with her family and great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard J. Lewis, January 7, 2009; five brothers: Hugh, Reece, John, Ted & Tom Smith; and four sisters: Kate Smith, Lillian Smith, Blonnie Nash and Wanda Griggs. Survivors include a daughter & son-in-law: Mitzi & Johnny Hobbs; a son & daughter-in-law: Terry & Patsy Lewis; Two Grandchildren: Alex Lewis and wife, Tiffanie, Keli Hobbs Campbell and husband, Kenneth; and Five Great Grandchildren: Logan and Natalie Campbell, Tyler and Trentin Lewis and Austin Osborne; Several nieces & Nephew. Funeral Services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Ronnie Campbell and Dr. Tommy Smith officiating. Entombment Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday, February 8, 2013, in the Mausoleum of Peace, Happy Valley Memorial Park. Music will be provided by Rev. Ronnie Campbell. Active Pallbearers will be: Alex Lewis, Kenneth Campbell, Wayne Clark, John Pierce, Eddie Sams, Mike Nash and Cameron "Buck" Gentry. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:20 p.m. Friday to go to the cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home. Friends may also visit with the family at the residence of the daughter & son-in-law: Mitzi & Johnny Hobbs, 2770 Siam Road, Elizabethton.
