Mills was born in Washington county, New York, December 30, 1848, and died at her home near Martland, Neb., April 14, 1917, aged 68 years, 3 months, and 15 days. At the age of one and one-half years she, with her parents moved to Peoria, Ill., where she resided until her marriage to James O. Merryman, March 10, 1870. Read More	MERRYMAN, JENNIE A.—Jenni A. Mills was born in Washington county, New York, December 30, 1848, and died at her home near Martland, Neb., April 14, 1917, aged 68 years, 3 months, and 15 days. At the age of one and one-half years she, with her parents moved to Peoria, Ill., where she resided until her marriage to James O. Merryman, March 10, 1870. In October 1871, they settled in Fillmore county, Nebraska, on the farm where she lived until her death. Her husband passed away just eight weeks before her, almost to the very hour. She is survived by three children James O., Ray A., and Mrs. Cora Bail, and five grandsons, all of whom were at her bedside during her last hours and one sister, Mrs. Janett Brown of Glasford, Ill., and two brothers, David Mills of Weeping Water, Neb., and George Mills of Murdock, Neb. One daughter, Mrs. Mate E. Merryman, who died January 28, 1913, and two brothers and three sisters preceded her to the better world some years ago. Funeral services were conducted from the home by Rev. Bauer of the United Brethren church of Geneva, assisted by Rev. E. B. Maxcy of Shickley, and at the Martland church at 1:30 p.m. The body was laid away in the Geneva cemetery beside that of her husband, who so recently passed away. Among those from a distance attending the funeral were: Mrs. J.P. Mills of Cowles, Neb., Mrs. Ed Koon of Blue Hill, and Miss Ella Merryman, James Merryman, and Mrs. John Merryman of Huntley.
