Description	:	MRS. JOHN BELL Jennie Cretcher, daughter of Matthew and Lucinda Cretcher, was born Jan. 7th, 1857, near Mt. Sterling where she grew to womanhood. On March 25, 1888, she was united in marriage to John Bell of Mt. Sterling. To this union were born four daughters. She united with the M. E. church when still a young woman and attended faithfully, even the Sunday night before her death. Death from heart trouble released her from earthly trials at 9:20 p.m. on Nov. 8th, 1926, at the age of 69 years, 10 months,... Read More	MRS. There survives to mourn her passing, her husband, John Bell; the daughters, Mrs. C. C. Peterson of Keosauqua; Miss Grace Bell of Seattle, Wash.; Mrs. F. B. Wilson of Marshalltown; and Mrs. C. E. Mulby of Seattle, Wash. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, Howard, Lillian Alice, Harold and Clarabel Peterson of Keosauqua; Josephine, John and Shirley Wilson of Marshalltown; also two sisters, Mrs. Ida Case of Plainview, Texas, and Mrs. Lucinda Davis of Seattle, Wash.; three brothers, Lycurgus and Daniel Cretcher of Mt. Sterling and M. G. Cretcher of Grand Junction, Colo. Besides a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mrs. Anna Langford and Mrs. Francis Smith and one brother, Will Cretcher. Funeral services Sunday afternoon at the M. E. church, the pastor, Rev. Bruvold officiating. Interment in Harness cemetery.
