Description	:	Jennie Dammer, daughter of Antko and Sadie (Kor) Dammer, was born April 8, 1922, in Rushmore, MN. She grew up and received her education in the Little Rock and Sibley, IA areas. From the age of 8 until she married Enno Venenga on January 1, 1941, in Little Rock, IA, she was raised by her maternal grandparents. Following her marriage to Enno they worked for farms in the Sibley and Rushmore area until moving to Sioux Falls to work at John Morrell in Feburary of 1943. Enno worked for Morrell's for 38 years in the curing department until he retired... Read More	Jennie Dammer, daughter of Antko and Sadie (Kor) Dammer, was born April 8, 1922, in Rushmore, MN. She grew up and received her education in the Little Rock and Sibley, IA areas. From the age of 8 until she married Enno Venenga on January 1, 1941, in Little Rock, IA, she was raised by her maternal grandparents. Following her marriage to Enno they worked for farms in the Sibley and Rushmore area until moving to Sioux Falls to work at John Morrell in Feburary of 1943. Enno worked for Morrell's for 38 years in the curing department until he retired in 1981. In her free time, Jennie enjoyed quilting and embroidering items for family and friends, doing word searches and visiting with friends. In her younger years she loved to go camping and fishing with Enno. Grateful for having shared her life are her son, Richard (Dorothy) Venenga, Onalaska, WI; 10 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 5 great great-grandchildren; sister, Siena Hawkins, Sioux Falls; and brothers, George (Jackie) Dammer and Carl (Darlene) Dammer, both of Sioux Falls. Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, Antko and Sadie Dammer; husband, Enno Venenga; sons, John and Larry Venenga; daughter, Sadie Christensen; brother, Sievert Dammer; and sisters, Mary Jeske and Jane Stephensen.
