Description	:	Jenny Diment Brant was born at Danbury August 22, 1896, and was married to Ira Brant in Sioux City April 17, 1915. Following their marriage they made their home in the Anthon community. Mrs. Brant was a member of the Anthon Methodist Church, the Anthon Rebekah lodge, and the Anthon American Legion Auxiliary. While her health permitted she served as volunteer Blue Lady, working with patients at the Cherokee Mental Health Institute. She was preceded by a child who died in infancy. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday in the Anthon Methodist Church for Mrs. Ira Brant, 61, who died Friday at a Sioux City hospital after a long illness. Rev. M.M. Schaper conducted the service. Burial was in Oak Hill Cemetery under direction of Hudgel Funeral Home. Special rites at the church were conducted by the Anthon American legion Auxiliary and a graveside service by the Anthon Rebekah Lodge. The Anthon Herald, 11 September 1957, page 1
