Earl David Beamis (1910-1995) 10. Dorothy Rachel Beamis (1915-2000) Jennie came to Salem, Jewell, Kansas in May of 1873 when she was just a couple of months old. She lived there until she was eleven in 1883,and then moved to Red Cloud, Webster, Nebraska for a short time, and by 1885 relocated to Spokane, Washington where she resided for several years before she met and married Clark Albert Beamis in 1889 at the age of seventeen. Her and Clark moved onto Redding, Shasta, California for a few years, then came back to Spokane, Washington where they resided for about five years until 1900 when they moved to Wallace, Idaho. Then onto Kellogg, Idaho 1904, where they resided for about eight to nine years. They bought 80 acres ($2.50 per acre) in Fourth of July Canyon, Idaho August 10, 1910 and resided there 'till 1925 when they sold the farm for $2,350.00 and a Willis Knight automobile (that later wouldn't run) to L.P. Sheppard. They moved to Dudley, Idaho, to be closer to doctors, and hospital because Clark had become ill. Clark died at the home of his daughter Clara (Beamis) Wellman of heart disease.
