Description	:	Jennie Rhoda Rites Held March 4 Mrs. Jennie Reitsma Rhoda, 80 died Saturday, March 1 at the Hand County Memorial Hospital. Jennie Menning was born March 2, 1899 at Armour, the daughter of John and Rena Menning. She attended school in Armour. She married John Reitsma in April, 1917. They lived in Cyrus, MN, Springfield, Ree Heights and Huron. Mr. Reitsma died in May of 1955. In 1959 she married John O. Rhoda and they lived in Mitchell until 1961 when they moved to Miller. Read More	Jennie Rhoda Rites Held March 4 Mrs. Jennie Reitsma Rhoda, 80 died Saturday, March 1 at the Hand County Memorial Hospital. Jennie Menning was born March 2, 1899 at Armour, the daughter of John and Rena Menning. She attended school in Armour. She married John Reitsma in April, 1917. They lived in Cyrus, MN, Springfield, Ree Heights and Huron. Mr. Reitsma died in May of 1955. In 1959 she married John O. Rhoda and they lived in Mitchell until 1961 when they moved to Miller. She is survived by one son Richard Teitsma, Lake Lillian, MN, three daughters, Mrs. Rena Tusha, Miller, Mrs. Tom (Ann) Butler, San Pedro, CA and Mrs. Fred (Berniece) Hampton, Hew Hall, CA; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Cornelius (Hattie) Wilson and Mrs. Bert (Henrietta) Van Der Werff, both of Miller and one brother, Simon Menning, Pierre. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, John Reitsma in 1955 and John Rhoda in 1965 and three brothers. Funeral services were held Tuesday, March 4 at the First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Donald Greenough officiating. Burial was in the GAR Cemetery. Active pallbearers were Richard Reitsma, Dave Tusha, Bradley Tusha, Douglas Reitsma, tom Butler and Robert Reitsma. Honorary pallbearers were Robert Van Der Werff, George Wilson, Jay Menning, Richard Menning, Edward Van Der Werff and Jerauld Menning.
