Description	:	Jennie Porter Foulon, the daughter of Jeremiah and Sarah Wells Porter, was born on a farm near Mendota, Mo., June 16, 1860. She was brought up in that community. February 20, 1884, she was united in marriage to James Stephen Foulon. To this union were born three children, Maude Foulon Iredale of Fairmont, Edward Porter Foulon of Klamath Falls, Ore., and James Robert, who died at the age of five years. Read More	Jennie Porter Foulon, the daughter of Jeremiah and Sarah Wells Porter, was born on a farm near Mendota, Mo., June 16, 1860. She was brought up in that community. February 20, 1884, she was united in marriage to James Stephen Foulon. To this union were born three children, Maude Foulon Iredale of Fairmont, Edward Porter Foulon of Klamath Falls, Ore., and James Robert, who died at the age of five years. The family came to Nebraska, settling first near Clay Center on a farm. They resided there for two years and then came to the Fairmont neighborhood, where they settled on a farm. Mrs. Foulon had resided in this locality the past seventy years. She came of a family of six children, all of whom preceded her in death. She was probably the oldest member of Grace Methodist church, having united with the church in 1890. She lived a long and useful life. Naturally, she had many and varied experiences. Among other things, she was bereft of her husband, December 18, 1918. She was possessed of a kindly disposition. She was always thoughtful and considerate of others. She had been in failing health for a number of years and during those days she was tenderly cared for by her daughter, Mrs. Maude Iredale. Her final summons came at the turning of the year, January 1, 1957, and she sleeps, being aged at the time of her death, 96 years, 6 months and 15 days. She leaves to mourn her loss, the son and daughter mentioned above; six grandchildren; sixteen great-grandchildren; besides a number of more distant relatives and a large number of friends an acquaintances.
