Born in Gaffney, S.C. she was the widow of the late William Drurry Elliott and daughter of the late Glyn Seals and Vinnie Self Seals. Surviving are three sons, Kelvin Elliott and wife, Tammy, Ronnie Elliott and Kenny Elliott and wife, Bit, all of Gaffney; a daughter, Debbie Murphy of Gaffney; four grandchildren, Kevin Elliott, Jessica Elliott, Kim Humphries and husband, Charlie, and Jared Elliott; three great grandchildren, Austin Humphries, Carson Humphries and Tyson Boyette. In addition to her husband and parents she was preceded in death by four brothers, Joni Seals, Jay Seals, Garland “Buck” Seals and Bobby Seals, two sisters, Peggy Hambright and Carolyn Childers, a granddaughter, Callie Dawn Elliott, a son-in-law, Gary Murphy and a daughter-in-law, Fran Elliott. The family will receive friends from 3:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Blakely Funeral Home. Funeral services will immediately follow at 4:00 PM in the Blakely Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Ashby Blakely officiating. The family will be at the home of Kelvin and Tammy Elliott, 133 Elliott Drive, Gaffney. An online guest register is available at www.blakelyfuneralhome.com.
