Read More	Jerald L. Christensen Jr., 39, of Grand Island, died Friday, June 25, 2010, in Hastings. Jerald, was born Nov. 5, 1970, at San Diego to Jerald Sr. and Myrna (Petersen) Christensen. Survivors are: wife, Brandi; daughter, Emma (4 years old); twin daughters, Briannah and Hannah Christensen (3 years old); step-sons, Derrick Plummer and Devyn Gratto; parents, Jerald Christensen, Sr. of Grand Island and Myrna Christensen of California; sisters and brothers-in-law, Tresa and Mark Arthur of Grand Island and Lisa and Mitch Kearns of Rapid City, S.D.; and grandmother, Irene Beadles in California and a host of relatives and friends. Jerald received his education at Imperial Beach High School in Imperial Beach, Calif. Jerald was united in marriage to Brandi Plummer July 27, 2002, in Grand Island. The couple lived in Grand Island where he worked for Island Towing. He then worked for MFS York/Stormor. He was a truck driver for Grand Island Express. Then he worked for Kramer's Auto Parts and Iron. He was a truck driver for Ben Pavelka Trucking of Hastings. He attended St. Pauls Lutheran Church. He enjoyed working on old cars and sprucing up his semi trucks. His greatest enjoyment in life was playing with his children. They were his world. He also enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews. Jerald was preceded in death by his aunt, Thelma Christensen; cousin, Wayne Christensen; uncle, Marshall Christensen; cousin, Daniel Christensen; grandfather, Merlin Petersen; grandfather, Jack Beadles; cousin, Ron Pierre; uncle, Gordon Christensen; and sister-in-law, Jaime Plummer.
