Description	:	Jerry was born to Wesley & Margaret (Smyth) Bosse. He attended St. Peter's grade school and after graduating from Sacred Heart High School in 1956, he enlisted in the United States Air Force and proudly served for four years. After his honorable discharge, he returned to Omaha and enrolled at the University of Omaha. He was employed at Northern Natural Gas Company for 24 years and retired after 15 years as an administrator for the Millard School District. On, September 1-1962, Jerry married the love of his life, Leona Wadas in Ord, NE. Theirs was a special marriage for 55 years and they were blessed with 4 daughters. Jerry was very involved in church and community activities. He served on the finance committee when St. John Vianney Catholic Church was established, bought CCD Classes and was an EME. Education was important to Jerry and he proudly and effectively served 8 years as an elected board member of the Millard School Board. He coached soccer, helped with school projects and encouraged his daughters to complete their graduate degrees. Jerry was a member of the Millard American Legion, VFW, German American Society, Eagles, Polish Home, Sokol South Omaha, Monarch Squares, Primetimers, Polka Lovers and Polka Dance Club. His greatest joy and love was spending time with his children, grandkids, family and friends. Jerry was an exceptionally caring, generous, patient and good natured man with a strong work ethic and a huge, loving heart. He lived well, laughed often and loved much.
