Funeral services will be held 2:00, Saturday, March 10, at Round Mtn. Baptist Church with the Rev. Roger Jennings and Rev. Larry Teague officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Mrs. Nelson was born in Wilkes County, on February 24, 1930, to Carlo and Nettie Harrald Brown. She was a member of Round Mtn. Baptist Church. Mrs. Nelson was a former employee of Vespers Nursing Home. Mrs. Nelson was preceded in death by her parents. In addition to her husband, Mrs. Nelson is survived by three daughters, Alice Childress and husband, Paul, Susie Teague and husband, William, Ellen Teague and husband, Larry all of Hays; three sons, Tommy Nelson and wife, Delilah of Alabama, Terry Nelson and wife, Lisa, Ronnie Nelson all of Hays; two sisters, Marie Brown and Hazel Blevins both of Hays; eight grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
