Read More	Jessie was born on 13 May 1857 in Columbiana Co, OH. At the time her family was living either in Fairfield Township or Knox Township. Her parents were John G. & Abigail (Fryfogle) Rolli. By 1870 her family had moved to Alliance, Stark Co, OH. Jessie married Frank Samuel Cope on 19 Aug 1875 in Stark Co, OH. Shortly thereafter she & Frank moved to Columbiana, Columbiana Co, OH. In 1880 they were living on a farm next to Frank's mother in Unity Twnshp, Columbiana, Co, OH. By 1900 they were living in a house in Unity Twnshp(probably in New Waterford). They lived in Unity Twnshp the rest of their lives. Jessie and Frank had 3 children: William Franklin, Ina (adopted - orig last name Rook), and Edward Rolli (adopted). There is a family story about the adoption of Edward: It is said that Jessie saw a story in a newspaper about a boy needing a family and that she hitched up a horse and wagon and travel to Pittsburgh (about 50 miles) to adopt him. It is more likely that he was adopted in the family. So far I have been unable to find the truth as the court house that would have his adoption record burned down. Jessie died, probably at home, on 22 Jun 1923. I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who knows anything about the son, William Franklin Cope, and about the adopted daughter, Ina (Rook) Cope.
