BEAMER Jessie May Beamer,, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Roberts, was born near Castle Rock, Colorado, December 25, 1875. Read More	OBITUARY THE EDDYVILLE TRIBUNE Eddyville, Iowa Friday, January 17, 1908 MRS. R. M. BEAMER Jessie May Beamer,, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Roberts, was born near Castle Rock, Colorado, December 25, 1875. The early part of her childhood was spent in Colorado, but later in life she, with her parents, came to this place and settled at Bridgeport. April 5, 1898 she was united in marriage to R. M. Beamer of this place and since that time they have resided within or near here. To this union two children were born, Verna Gay and Rolla Lee. The deceased leaves a husband, the above named children, father, mother, two brothers, Edgar and Lee Roberts, and one sister, Christina, all of this place. The death of Mrs. Deamer occurred at Ottumwa, January 11, 1908 and came as a shock to her many friends though she has spent many months suffering, which was due to a complication of diseases. Her long sufferings were kindly and patiently borne. She was a very devoted wife and mother and made friends with all whom she met. Those who knew her best loved her most. The funeral services were conducted from the late residence on North Third street Sunday afternoon at 2 o'clock by Rev. W. S. Moore, pastor of the M. E. church. The remains were laid to rest in the cemetery at Bridgeport.
