Bar Memorial to Miss Medsker The Sullivan county Bar Association today adopted a resolution as a memorial to Miss Pauline Medsker, longtime secretary of the Association, who died Monday evening. Funeral services and burial were conducted today. Miss Medsker, 73, served as court reporter for six Sullivan Circuit Court Judges over a period of 39 years, "with great efficiency," the resolution said. Members of the local Bar Association adopted the resolution "to pay our tribute of respect to our deceased friend and associate." "Pauline received admission to the Bar of the Sullivan Circuit Court of the State of Indiana, on December 8, 1924, and served many years as Secretary of this Bar Association and was named as an honorary member of this Bar several years ago. In all she undertook to do and to be, she was capable, industrious, congenial, gracious, trustworthy, and sincere and a true and faithful friend, and was dearly beloved by all who knew her and worked with her, and highly esteemed by all her acquaintances. The Sullivan County Bar Association regards her with respect and wishes to honor her memory. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that in the death of Miss Pauline Medsker, the Sullivan County Bar Association has lost a worthy member and associate; one whose name and ability should be duly recorded and appropriately perpetuated. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Memorial shall be presented to the Presiding Judge of the Sullivan Circuit court of Sullivan County, Indiana, and entered in the Order Book Recorded of said Court, and that the copy be delivered to her family. Members of the Resolutions Committee are Tella C. Haines, Joe W. Loudermilk and Ruth V. Anderson. Jack N. Cochran is president of the Bar Association.
