She was a devout Christian and active church member since childhood. The ability to share her love of God through singing and piano playing continued during her long battle with Alzheimer’s. Graveside service will follow at Walker Cemetery, Bomont, WV conducted by her grandson, Dr. Matt Walker, per her request. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Gideon International of Kanawha Valley 724 Indiana Avenue Charleston, WV 25302 so that the word she so deeply cherished and lived by can be shared with others.
