Description	:	Jo Hunn O’Grady, 85, of Arvada passed away on October 4, 2007 after a long illness. The daughter of Joseph and Helen Hunn, she was born and raised in Loveland, graduating from Loveland High School in 1940. Active in Rainbow Girls in her youth, she became Worthy Advisor, an honor she treasured. She attended Denver University. During World War II, she was employed for a time at the prisoner of war camp housing German POW’s in Northern Colorado. Read More	Jo Hunn O’Grady, 85, of Arvada passed away on October 4, 2007 after a long illness. The daughter of Joseph and Helen Hunn, she was born and raised in Loveland, graduating from Loveland High School in 1940. Active in Rainbow Girls in her youth, she became Worthy Advisor, an honor she treasured. She attended Denver University. During World War II, she was employed for a time at the prisoner of war camp housing German POW’s in Northern Colorado. Later she worked on the assembly line and in the personnel office of the Remington Arms plant, now the site of the Denver Federal Center in Lakewood. She recalled the visit of President Roosevelt to encourage the employees in their contribution to the war effort. On August 14, 1945 she married John O’Grady and spent fifteen years as an Army wife, moving and raising her family often alone under difficult circumstances. She leaves behind her husband, daughter, son, and two grandchildren [survivors names omitted]. At the family’s request, a private family graveside service will be held at Loveland Burial Park.--Kibbey-Fishburn Funeral Home
