Description	:	Joan E. Biggerstaff, 83, of Cheyenne, went home to Jesus for Easter on March 29, 2013, in Cheyenne, Wyo. She was born on Dec. 14, 1929, to Nicholas and Elizabeth (Millen) Karn, of Stapleton. Joan moved to Cheyenne with her husband, Lyle, and their children in 1967. She worked for Allied Moving and Storage and Burke Moving and Storage for several years before retiring. She loved her football and basketball and was an avid Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rockies, and Wyoming Cowboys and Cowgirls fan. Biggerstaff, 83, of Cheyenne, went home to Jesus for Easter on March 29, 2013, in Cheyenne, Wyo. She was born on Dec. 14, 1929, to Nicholas and Elizabeth (Millen) Karn, of Stapleton. Joan moved to Cheyenne with her husband, Lyle, and their children in 1967. She worked for Allied Moving and Storage and Burke Moving and Storage for several years before retiring. She loved her football and basketball and was an avid Denver Broncos, Denver Nuggets, Colorado Rockies, and Wyoming Cowboys and Cowgirls fan. Joan was a member of St Mary's Cathedral and St. Mary's Guild. As a devout Catholic, she attended Mass faithfully every Sunday unless ill. On those days she would pray with Msgr. James O'Neill as he celebrated mass during his Sunday television broadcasts. Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Biggerstaff; and her parents. Joan is survived by two daughters, Susan Wininger (Jack) and Julie Bolin (Tim), all of Cheyenne; three sons, Mike Biggerstaff (Meloney) of Ft. Collins, Colo., and Nick Biggerstaff and Dick (Peggy) Biggerstaff, all of Cheyenne; her grandchildren, Jennifer (Adam) Van Holland of Conifer, Colo., Liz and James Biggerstaff, Duane and Joe Huston and children; Cody, Caylee and McKenna Biggerstaff, of Ft. Collins; a sister, Eloise Kramer, of Stapleton; two brothers, Bill (Zola) Karn, of Stapleton, and Pete Karn of Rapid City, S.D.; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral liturgy will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, April 3, at St. Mary's Cathedral in Cheyenne with Fr. Michael Carr as the celebrant. Burial will be at St. John's Catholic Cemetery in Stapleton. Vigil for the Deceased will be at 7 p.m., Tuesday, April 2, at Wiederspahn-Radomsky Chapel in Cheyenne, which is in charge of the arrangements..
