She was united in marriage on May 18, 1953, to Joseph McCloud. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and baking, especially homemade bread and buns. She loved nothing better than spending time with her family, and spent many joyful hours fishing with her grandchildren. Read More	GARRISON — Joan McCloud, 75, Garrison, passed away May 29, 2012, at the Garrison Memorial Hospital. Joan was born June 22, 1936, to Tobias and Elsie (Isaak) Sailer in Hazen. She was united in marriage on May 18, 1953, to Joseph McCloud. She enjoyed gardening, sewing and baking, especially homemade bread and buns. She loved nothing better than spending time with her family, and spent many joyful hours fishing with her grandchildren. She loved the time she spent working and later volunteering at the Garrison Memorial Hospital. Joan was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brothers, Robert and Tommy; and sons, Larry and Jamie. Joan's final act of kindness was donating her body to the University of North Dakota Science Department for the education of others.
