Born on April 22, 1946 in Spartanburg, she was the daughter of the late Leroy and Louise Leonard Jackson and the faithful wife of Pastor Gerald W. Burnett for 52 years, with whom she faithfully served the Lord. Mrs. Burnett was a member of Care Baptist Church. She retired from the National Beta Club after 32 years of service and served as CEO. Joey Lee Burnett and wife Shannon of Spartanburg, and Jonathan Edward Burnett and wife Dr. Annette Burnett of Duncan; a sister, Dale Wright and husband Rusty of Spartanburg, and four grandchildren, Hannah, Caleb, Ashlyn, and Jackson. Services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Poplar Springs Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Burnett, Rev. Jeff Burnett and Rev. Owen Duncan officiating. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 pm prior to the service. Interment will be in the church cemetery with Rev. Gerald Burnett and Jack Mabry officiting.
