Description : Joan Katheryn Stanek, 76, passed away, February 4, 2003. Survived by her longtime friend, Elizabeth L. Ogden. A former teacher in the Denver Public Schools Ms. Stanek, a graduate of the State University of Kansas, Manhattan, received her advance degrees from the University of Denver. She was a member of Tri Delta Sorority, Belle Plaine Historical Society, Czech Geneology Society.
