Description	:	GILMORE CITY — JoAnn Schurr, 63, died at her home Monday, March 12, 2007. Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 12 (sic-16), 2007, at First Lutheran Church in Gilmore City. Burial will be at Marble Valley Cemetery in Gilmore City. Visitation will be from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Harris Funeral Home in Gilmore City. JoAnn Jacobson was born in 1944 in Rolfe to Phillip and Sylvia (Boyd) Jacobson. JoAnn Jacobson was born in 1944 in Rolfe to Phillip and Sylvia (Boyd) Jacobson. She attended school in Rutland and Graduated from Gilmore City-Bradgate School and later received her C.M.A. from Iowa Central College. She worked at the Care Centers in Humboldt and also at Park Pharmacy and Park Physicians in Humboldt. JoAnn and husband, Ben, were married in 1963 and to this union was born a son, Steven Gene, in 1968. Survivors include her husband, Ben, of Gilmore City; Sisters, Judy Carman and Eugene of Lime Springs, Sheila Wiese of Mason City, Mary Ford of Pocahontas, Linda Tool and Don of Gilmore City, Susan Anderson and Ron of Gilmore City; also many nieces and nephews as well many aunts, uncles and cousins. JoAnn was preceded in death by her son, Steven, her mother and father and brother, Russell Jacobson. She will be remembered for her love of life and her sense of humor. She was a member of the First Lutheran Church, the American Legion Auxiliary and loved playing cards with her friends.
