Read More	OLD RESIDENT IS DEAD JOHANN FISCHER SUCCUMBS TO INFIRMITIES OF AGE MADE HIS HOME IN STANTON The Deceased was a Native of Germany and Came to This country Twenty Eight Years Ago- made his home with sons Johann Gottlieb Fischer, an old resident, died at this home in Stanton township on Friday at the advanced age of eighty-five years, eight months and ten days. His death was due to old age. He had been in feeble health for several years and for the pas five years had not left the farm yard at the home of his son where he ha lived since the death of his wife. Johann Fischer was a native of Germany and was born in that country on October 28, 1828. He was married twice and survived both his wives, the first wife dying in Germany and the second wife dying in Nebraska. He is survived by five children and seven grandchildren. Two of his sons, Ferdinand and Carl Fischer, reside in Stanton Township. Mr. Fischer came to this country twenty eight years ago and lived in Nebraska before coming to Plymouth County. He also leaves behind one brother and one sister. The funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the Stanton Evangelical church, Rev A. H. Buente, the pastor officiating and he interment made in the Stanton cemetery.
