He was born August 30, 1956, in big Timber the son of Walt and Mildred Martinz, He was raised and received his education in Big Timber. John had been employed with a seismograph crew, Baker Transfer of Billings and primarily in the meat cutting industry. "What it is?" was one of John's favorite greetings. He was born August 30, 1956, in big Timber the son of Walt and Mildred Martinz, He was raised and received his education in Big Timber. John had been employed with a seismograph crew, Baker Transfer of Billings and primarily in the meat cutting industry. "What it is?" was one of John's favorite greetings. He always had a smile and was ready for conversation. He was especially fond of children, loved a good joke, and was a great storyteller. He loved to sing and dance. Many times he lent his excellent cooking abilities to various festivities. John never said no to anyone needing a helping hand. John is survived by his mother, Mildred of Big Timber; six brothers, David, Robert Charlie and Mike of Big Timber, James of Afton, Wyoming, and Duane of Mammoth, Wyo.; two sisters, Mary Ann Parrent of Big Timber and Judy Hampson of Ranchester Wyoming; and numerous nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his father, Walt and sister, Diane. John, you were a good son, brother and friend. Good night and we will see you tomorrow. Peace be with you, John.
