Description	:	John Christopher Buried Here Wed. John Christopher, 53, who lived on a ranch at Brush Creek near Aspen all of his life, passed away from congested heart failure January 14th while on his way by bus to the western slope after having been confined in St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver. It was thought that he was all right and well enough to travel but was stricken at Minturn, Colorado, and died instantly. John Christopher, 53, who lived on a ranch at Brush Creek near Aspen all of his life, passed away from congested heart failure January 14th while on his way by bus to the western slope after having been confined in St. Joseph's Hospital in Denver. It was thought that he was all right and well enough to travel but was stricken at Minturn, Colorado, and died instantly. In delicate health all his life, John always tried to make the best of his ailments and won for himself a warm place in the hearts of his neighbors and friends by his ever ready, helpful hand and cheerful disposition. Those left to mourn him are a brother, of Redstone, Colorado, a sister, of Redstone and Fruita, Colorado, and a niece, of Aurora, Colorado. Funeral services were held at 10"30 a.m. January 17th at St. Mary's church, Aspen, Colorado with Father Banigan officiating at a Requiem High Mass. Interment was in Red Butte Cemetery under the arrangement of the Farnum Mortuary. Pallbearers, all long time friends, were Rosert Wiese, Owen Kearns, Evan Melton, Wm.
