Mr. Kahoun, who lived at 2000 Jones street, was born in Winona, Minn., February 5, 1889, and came to Sioux City in 1909. He had resided here since. Mr. Kahoun was a member of the Eagles lodge and the Brotherhood of Railroad Trainmen. Survivors include the widow, Anna; one daughter, Mrs. Dorothy Lorcheim, Chicago; three brothers, Frank, Edward and Vincent, all of Sioux City; his father, John C. Kahoun, also of Sioux City, and one sister, Mrs. Katherine Lanegan, Sioux City. The body was taken to the Rutledge funeral home. The rosary will be recited at 8 o'clock tonight at the funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Park cemetery.
