McGlothin Sept. 4, 1920 - Oct. 20, 1992 John Clay McGLOTHIN, 72, of 909 Clover St., died at 9:15 a.m. today, shortly after admission to Woodlawn Hospital. He had been in failing health for six months. He was born in Powell County, Ky., to Fred and Adaelle HUFF McGLOTHIN. He lived most of his life in this community. On April 1, 1943 in Rochester he married Donnabell MIKESELL. He retired in 1985 as an electrician for Burton Mechanical Contractors Inc. He attended the Macy Christian Church. He was World War II Army veteran, having served in the Pacific Theater. He was a member of the I.O.O.F. Lodge, the American Legion, the Manitou VFW, and the Manitou Moose Lodge. Surviving with his wife are a daughter, Mrs. Ronald (Dawn) ROGERS, Plymouth; a son, Richard [McGLOTHIN], Rochester; a daughter-in-law, Linda McGLOTHIN; two granddaughters, Candy ZARTMAN, North Manchester, and Wendy McGLOTHIN, Rochester; a great-grandson, Paul D. ZARTMAN, North Manchester; three sisters, Mrs. John (Ella) RICHARDS, Crescent City, Fla., and Bertha "Bertie" JOCKING and Joy HUNTER, both of Rochester, and two brothers, Woodie McGLOTHIN and Fred McGLOTHIN, both of Rochester. Preceding in death were a son, John D McGLOTHIN, on July 15, 1990, and two sisters, Pearl WOODCOX and Elsie BATES. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Foster & Good Funeral Home, Rochester, with the Rev. David WELSH officiating. Burial will be in the Rochester I.O.O.F. Cemetery with military rites by the American Legion and VFW. Friends may call from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday. The I.O.O.F.
