He moved with his parents and two sisters, now Mrs. Paul (Hilda) Senseney of Brunswck and Mrs. Edith Jolly of Troy, KS, to the Plainview area in 1904. He was married to Vera Nash on March 28, 1923. To this union were born seven children, Mrs. Orvil (Verna) Schoenauer of Brunswick, Mrs. John (Almeda) Hays of Hillsboro, OR, Mrs. Charles (Wilma) Rumsey of Creighton, Harold of Omaha, Lloyd of Iola, KS, Mrs. LuVern (Betty Ann) Sawyer of Fremont and Mrs. Kenneth (Una Lee) Sutter of Pierce. There are 30 grandchildren, seven step-grandchildren and thirty-three great grandchildren. Mr. Buche and his wife farmed for 13 years following their marriage and later operated a produce and grocery store in Brunswick. They retired in 1964. He was a former member of the Brunswick School Board, town board and churchcouncil, and a member of the Brunswick Congregational United Church of Christ. He died November 22, 1980 at the Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh at the age of 82 years and two weeks. He was preceded in deaths by his parents, one sister, three grandchildren, one son-in-law and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, November 25 at the Congregational Church in Brunswick with the Rev. Leo Zillig officiating. Burial was in the Brunswick Cemetery. Music was furnished by organist, Doug Reynolds, and Mrs. Ed Wahrer and Mrs. Bradly Stelling who sang "Rock of Ages" and "In The Garden". Pallbearers were Francis Reynolds, John Kumm, Dale Johnson, Jon Meuret, Ervin Sawyer and Dale Greenamyre. Plainview News, 3 December 1980
