Richard Died officiating. Burial was in the Brunswick Cemetery. Pall bearers were John Kumm, Francis Reynolds, Jim Keetle, Jim Mullins, Bruce Forbes and Doug Forbes. Betty Sawyer sang "Rock of Ages" and "In The Garden" accompanied by Doug Reynolds. Ashburn Funeral Homes was in charge of arrangements. Vera . Buche was born November 9, 1903 at Ceresco to Chauncey and Anna (Friedricks) Nash and passed away April 10, 1991 at the Neligh Nursing Home. She moved to Antelope County in her childhood and attended school at Districk 35 and was a member of the Crawford Valley church. On March 28, 1923 she was married to John C. Buche at her parents' home. They farmed until 1936 when they moved to Brunswick and owned a combination grocery, cream and feed business for 25 years before retiring. She was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary of Brunswick and the Congregational Church. She had been a resident of the Neligh Nursing Center for almost nine years. Preceding her in death were her parents, husband, four brothers and two sisters. Survivors include five daughters, Verna Schoenauer and Wilma Rumsey of Brunswick, Almeda Hays of Tillamook, OR, Betty Sawyer of Fremont and Una Sutter of Pierce; two sons, Lloyd Buche of Iola, KS and Harold Buche of Omaha; 29 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, and two sisters, Beryle Nash of the Plainview and Veryle Ohlrich of Neligh.
