Description	:	There is a notation in John Morrison's diaries that states that John Coulter was a weaver and came from McGuires Bridge, County Fermanagh, N. Ireland. From the Griffiths Valuation, No Coulters in Maguires Bridge at all. Only two others in Aghalurcher Parish - A Charles in Mullaghfed - more about him later - and Thomas in Crocknagrally. Loads more Coulters in Fermanagh - much more common than Henderson - though neither name is what I would think of as very common. Strangely enough they commonly appear in the exact same parishes as the Hendersons. Little else is known. His death certificate... This too is possible. According to the 1901 Census, Ann Coulter Stuart emigrated in 1941. Therefore, John and Jane were married 1 Feb 1839 and emigrated from Ireland in late 1841. George was born in Montreal in 1843, Mary 1844, and William was born Montral 1848. All three births are recorded in the same Church. one can probably safely assume the family lived in Montrael for about eight to ten years. We also know now that the Henderson family - or some of them at least were also in Montreal. Several Hendersons signed the various baptism registers. All indications are that the Coulters went to the Toronto area (Gore)-possibly Etobicoke. They are listed there in the 1861 Census. Ann is listed as living there on her 1859 marriage and they stayed there until after the 1871 census where they appear in Toronto Twp. John, Jane and Joseph are in Chinguacousy on the 1881 census, possibly Terra Cotta where both John and Jane died.
