The former died in early manhood, about 60 years since, the latter, now quite an old man, lives in Marlboro County, SC. There were seven daughters, the eldest Clementine, married late in life Alfred Baldwin; Sallie who married W. D. Ussery; Esther married W. K. Covington; Biddie married John Hamer; there were also three other sisters who never married; Ann, Martha, and Eliza Jane. But two of the daughters are still living, Esther, and Eliza Jane, Martha having died Saturday last. She with all the other members were life long members of Zion M.E. Church, and as constant attendants on all services as the minister. She was a devout Christian woman who had lived to the age of about 78, and not less than 65 years of that time was given to the cause of her Master. She was buried at the family cemetery near by the old homestead last Saturday afternoon.
