A native of Fremont, Neb., Eidam helped organize the state Lutheran credit union in 1973 and served on the executive committees of the American Institute of Cooperation, the Credit Union National Association and the Farmers Elevator Mutual Casualty Company of Des Moines. In 1962, Mr. Eidam worked in Argentina with the Agency for International Development. He also served as the director of public relations of the West-central Cooperative Grain Co. of Omaha. He was honored by the Nebraska Hall of Agricultural Achievement in 1970. He is survived by his widow, Marie, Omaha; two daughters, Mrs. Harris Graves, Waterloo, and Mrs. Nancy Williams, Omaha, and five grandchildren.
