Description	:	DEATH CLAIMS J.E. HAMILTON AT AGE OF 65 John Elliott Hamilton, age 65, died at his home, two mile north east of Canal LEwisville Thursday night at 11:30 o'clock from complications. He had been in poor health for the last year and bedridden for the last four weeks. He was born Aug. 4, 1865 in White Eyes township, a son of the late James and Isabelle Elliott Hamilton. HAMILTON AT AGE OF 65 John Elliott Hamilton, age 65, died at his home, two mile north east of Canal LEwisville Thursday night at 11:30 o'clock from complications. He had been in poor health for the last year and bedridden for the last four weeks. He was born Aug. 4, 1865 in White Eyes township, a son of the late James and Isabelle Elliott Hamilton. He resided all of his life within one mile of his birthplace. Mr. Hamilton attended the rural schools and later attended Ohio Northern University at Ada. he followed the occupation of farmer and was a member of the grange. He attended the Methodist Episcopal Church at Canal Lewisville and was highly respected in his community. Mr. Hamilton was united in marriage with Sarah Rosetta Norris and to this union were born eight children, one of whom died in infancy. The widow and the following children survive: Russell of Pittsburgh, Glenn of this city, Arthur of Toledo, Mrs. George T Cross of Cuyahoga Falls, Kenneth of the late home, Robert of Columbus and Ruth of Richfield. Two brothers, Samuel M Hamilton of this city and Albert Hamilton of Fresno Rt. 2; two grandchildren, James and Ann Hamilton also survive. One sister, Mrs. Anna McCaskey, preceded him in death years ago. Funeral services will be held at the Canal Lewisville M.E. Church Sunday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the cortege leaving the late home at 2:30 o'clock for the church. Rev. A.E. Beers will officiate and burial will be made in the church cemetery.
